Building a better future for your children

New Childcare Subsidy (CCS)

On 2 July the new Child Care Subsidy (CCS) will replace the Child Care Benefit (CCB) and the Child Care Rebate (CCR).

You can download a factsheet about how the CCS will work here – Fact Sheet For Families – New Child Care Subsidy

There is also an online Child Care Subsidy estimator, which allows families to work out their level of subsidy under the new CCS. The tool asks users for details such as family income before tax, the number of hours
each parent works a fortnight and how many children they have. You can access the estimator at – https://www.education.gov.au/ChildCarePackage

Families that do not complete these steps will not receive the Child Care Subsidy and will end up paying full fees from 2 July 2018.
